Mental Health Act & Community Treatment Orders
What the course covers:
- Understand what the Mental Health Act has the power to do
- Be aware of the treatment methods prior to the act
- Assessing, diagnosing and managing mental health problems in adults (aged 18 and over) who are in contact with the criminal justice system
- Coordinated care planning and service organisation across the criminal justice system
- Understand the impact detainment has on an individual
How this course can be completed:
- Classroom: this course can be completed as a full-day course in a classroom environment, which lasts approximately 6.5 learning hours.
- Webinar: this course can be completed as a webinar that lasts approximately 2 learning hours.
